Verse Grants applications — Feb 2023 update
Verse Community grants aims to support projects which deliver long term practical value to the Verse ecosystem and to our users.
We’ve received over 25 applications in the first month alone and are currently in the process of reviewing the applications.
It’s wonderful to see all the applications come in, but we’ve had to reject many for the following reasons:
Quick tips on submitting your application:
- If you are a new founder/project, please be sure to include team profiles and successful projects that you have delivered in the past. We look for founders who have a proven track record with projects that have launched and have been in the market for a while. Although we are committed to supporting newcomers, we must also consider the higher risk of being rugged — so please do include details of your past work!
- If you are one of many projects in a competitive space, be sure to highlight in your application how you differ from other leading market providers. For example, as an analytics provider, how would you stack up against DefiLlama or Dune in relation to helping users of the Verse community?
- For marketing-related requests, we compare against industry-standard rates for marketing/influencer engagement. Please ensure your proposal is priced within the standards.
